UNHERALDED Zimdancehall artiste Machriss (real-name Phillip Tafadzwa Mureriwa) is basking in the glory of his latest collaboration with award winning gospel musician Mathias Mhere, Zim Morning Post Lifestyle can report.
Titled Inosvitsa Kure, thesingle also features dancehall sensation Killer T whose melodic voice spiced up the song.
“It was a good experience working with stars and the reason I roped in Mhere is because I wanted to capture some of the gospel music fans to appreciate the dancehall vibe.
“What matters is the message we are trying to drive home,” he said.
The song is laced with the Midas Touch of Cymplex, one of the most sought after music producers in the country.
Machriss said he was inspired by Freeman and has done collaborations with several other musicians.
“I was inspired by Freeman and my first single was released in 2017 which was named Nditambireyi Ndauya .
“In 2018 I did Kana Mazogara Singles Collection which I featured Trevor Dongo,” he narrated.
Macriss is a multitalented artiste who is able to compose, sing and produce songs.
He is yet to release a video but is working on it in the first quarter of 2021.
Besides music, the twenty- something year old musician manages his family business.
