Veteran dee-jay Jadie Jam dies

VETERAN wheel spinnerJadiel Masimba better known with his moniker Jadie Jam has died.

Jadie Jam collapsed and died on Sunday in Lusaka, Zambia after suffering from high blood pressure.

Details and arrangements of his repatriation where still sketchy at the time of writing.

Jadie Jam was the ‘life of the party’ and he played at almost all top clubs in Harare.

His Midas touch on the decks were inimitable and he also presented a television show Entertainment Lounge on ZBC alongside his ex wife Farai Mususa.

In the late 90s , his comrades in arms were Martin Smooth, Kelvin Sifelani, Ronnie Cool, Veejay Hundu, Otis Fraser the late Stan Pound among others.

He made his name at Club Circus during the days of Peter Mubi and Stan Bosch.

His last hunting ground in  Harare was at Exodus Makumbe’s  The Metropolitan joint in Madokero.
