The iconic OK Grand Challenge Promotion has evolved over the years and managed to shrugg off inhibits invited by the Covid 19 pandemic.
Speaking to the media in Harare Friday, the chief executive Max Karombo said this year’s edition is “re-imagined” and every shopper must look forward to bigger things.
The edition has more than forty participating supplies and the promotional period kicks off on April 8.
Said Karombo:
“We are excited to launch the 2022 OK Grand Challenge.The theme for this year is ‘Race 2 Happiness'(#Race 2 Happiness)which is a direct link between the iconic horse race and our re-imagined vision.We aim to create theatres of happiness,by planting smiles on our customers,suppliers,shareholders,employees and ultimately the communities we operate in.”
Over the years, the promotion has changed lives with lucrative prizes on offer for shoppers and it has also become a hun of entertainment inviting top artistes.
This year, prizes include weekly grocery vouchers as well as Nissan NP200s among others.
Grand prize is a Ford Ranger valued at US$78.00.
Grand finale is on June 4.
The event has send tongues wagging with news that the most beneficiaries (victors) are drawn from the high density areas , in a coincidence that raised eyebrows.
