HARARE, Zimbabwe — Police in Harare have arrested a 43-year-old man at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in connection with a $580,000 property fraud case.
Authorities said Elijah Meskano allegedly orchestrated a fraudulent transfer of ownership for a property in Gletwin, Harare. The scheme was uncovered when the rightful owner received Harare City Council bills listing Meskano and his wife as the property owners.
