HARARE — The Believer’s Ministry Class resumed on Monday the 18th of November, 2024, building on the momentum established since its launch on June 3, 2024. Following a brief break in October to accommodate the grand Apostolic Summit 2024 Edition, Apostle Joy dove back into the series, tackling the critical topic of temptation.

The man of God boldly addressed the challenge of temptation, drawing powerful insights from Luke 4 verses 1 to 13 (KJV), where Jesus confronted the devil in the wilderness. As the devil attempted to undermine Jesus’ identity as the Son of God, Apostle Joy emphatically reminded believers that sonship needs no external validation; we are already chosen.

The second season of the Believer’s Ministry Class is undeniably exceptional! With even deeper revelations, it’s impossible not to marvel at how God powerfully works through His servant, Apostle Joy Museba.

As Apostle Joy powerfully stated, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear” (1 Corinthians 10 verse 13 NIV). God permits temptations because He knows we have the strength to overcome them, he boldly told the congregants. This truth was demonstrated when Jesus resisted Satan’s deceitful tactics, revealing His divine authority.

Apostle Joy emphasized the importance of faith and confidence and highlighted that when tragedy strikes, some situations require the highest levels of spiritual intelligence. In those critical moments, God’s comfort is vital. However, as individuals we must also learn to comfort ourselves, recognizing God as our Shepherd and Owner.

In this context, Jesus taught us to pray, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one” as the scripture in Matthew 6 verse 13 (KJV) tells us to. This prayer serves as an essential framework for understanding the devil’s tactics.

Spiritual insight grows significantly when the devil attacks. The Book of Luke 4 (KJV) lays out the various levels of temptation Jesus faced, from the ground to the highest points. Apostle Joy urged believers to stand strong against the devil’s schemes, just as Jesus did; with unwavering determination.

John 3 verse 16 (KJV) emphasizes that God loves the world and desires to redeem it through resurrection and transformation. It is crucial to understand the distinction between the ‘world’ and the ‘earth’, and this Apostle Joy highlighted. While often used interchangeably, these terms have distinct meanings. The ‘world’ refers to the system of values, attitudes, and behaviours that oppose God’s will. In contrast, the ‘earth’ represents God’s creation, which He desires to redeem (John 3 verse 16 KJV).

The devil, as the ruler of this world (John 12 verse 31 KJV), exercises significant influence over humanity. He is the prince of the power of the air according to Ephesians 2 verse 2 (KJV), the ruler of the kingdom of the air as shown in Ephesians 6 verse 12 (KJV), and the god of this age seen in the Book of 2nd Corinthians 4 verse 4 (KJV). However, as believers, one must that true citizenship is in heaven, and are called to live according to God’s kingdom values, not the world’s.

Apostle Joy warned that while the devil may offer blessings, they come at a steep cost—our souls. Hard for many to believe, but he blatantly told the class; ‘the devil can bless people.’ A tactic the devil uses to deceive people. Luke 4 verse 7 (NLT) reveals the devil’s insidious offer to Jesus, while 2nd Corinthians 4 verse 4 (AMP) highlights the devil’s blindness to God’s truth. As Matthew 12 verse 25 (KJV) illustrates, an undivided house is crucial; confronting evil without addressing its root cause can lead to devastating consequences.

Emphasis was made that as people we must be aware of the devil’s tactics and address the root cause of evil, lest we may face devastating consequences (Matthew 12 verse 25 KJV). The Believers Class presents two clear spiritual choices for achieving victory: either worship the devil or resist him.

Apostle Joy confidently stated that scripture is definitive about who holds dominion over kingdoms and possesses true power Matthew 6 verse 13 (ESV). The question remains: who is the devil, and what is the source of his power? “Who gave him the power!?” Apostle Joy says. The next session shall provide more insight into this.

Classes are held every Monday evening at the Zimbabwe Music Academy in Harare. Apostle Joy Museba, Founder of New Creation Life Ministries International, facilitates the classes which are open to everyone!

The Believers Class invites individuals to explore the mysteries of spiritual authority, temptation, and God’s sovereignty. Participants can discover the empowering force of prayer, resilience, and biblical wisdom through these sessions.

Apostle Joy’s teachings aim to equip attendees with the tools to face life’s challenges, overcome temptation, and fulfil their divine purpose. As believers, attendees will also be empowered to heal the sick, cast out demons, minister deliverance, and exercise their spiritual authority, becoming effective ministers of the Gospel.

Season 2 of the Believers Class has already commenced specifically designed to empower every believer to discover and fulfil their ministry. Every believer has a ministry, and this class aims to equip and activate individuals to walk in their divine calling.
